Our management team has grown
Over the past year, the management team at Bos Nieuwerkerk—of which Heat Matrix is a part—has expanded to four colleagues, each bringing their own expertise and personality. Together, they form a strong and balanced team that challenges and complements one another. In this article, they share their backgrounds, motivations, and the way they collaborate.

Martèl Both – Engineering Manager
I joined the company four years ago as a project coordinator and have since grown into my current role as Engineering Manager. I’m also part of the management team. My strength lies in connecting people and combining different fields of expertise to create smart, well-considered solutions. I’m a generalist who sees the bigger picture and quickly recognizes how separate building blocks can form a solid foundation.
My background includes both family-owned companies and a large American corporation, but this place truly feels like home. We work in a close-knit, open culture where honesty and collaboration come first. There’s room to take initiative, and our technical department continues to evolve through smart standardization and innovative automation. In doing so, we transform decades of technical knowledge into efficient, high-quality solutions.
What always stands out to me is how enthusiastic our clients are about how our teams operate. They recognize the dedication we bring to making every project a success. For us, that’s just how we work – but it’s rewarding to see how much it’s appreciated.
Martine Goedegebuure – Owner & Strategist
With the transition of my role as director to Peter and the expansion of the management team, I now focus entirely on strategy. This means I’m less involved in daily operations and more dedicated to the long-term vision for Bos Nieuwerkerk and Heat Matrix. We’ve always been good at coming up with plans, but now we also have the space to truly bring them to life.
One important insight from our management training sessions was realizing that we were already operating like a holacracy: a flat organization where responsibilities are shared widely. At our company, a salesperson can contribute to production because they know the topic, and an engineer can give input on sales. We now aim to embrace this way of working more consciously.
I also safeguard our company culture. Our motto is: “Business is business, but business is ultimately about people.” That principle guides everything we do and every decision we make.
Cor de Leeuw – Sales Manager
I started here in 1985 as a metalworker, hired by Leen Goedegebuure. Through evening courses and broad experience within the company, I worked my way up to Sales Manager – and I’ve now been part of the management team for over 15 years.
My work is all about understanding our clients’ needs and translating them into the right solutions. Together with our engineers, we find the best approach. Trust is key in this process. We do what we promise and deliver reliability and quality.
To make that possible, we rely on each other completely. We have all the necessary expertise in-house and know exactly when to involve a colleague. Our strength lies in sharing knowledge and in the culture of our family business. Here, people not only fit together professionally but also share the same mindset. We’re direct, flexible, and informal. One moment we’re working hard, the next we’re having fun together. That balance makes working here truly special.
Peter van Veelen – Managing Director
As Managing Director, I bring a broad perspective on engineering, sales, and project execution, with a strong focus on relationships. Doing business is not just about technical content – it’s about collaboration and trust. Within our management team, we complement each other perfectly: with Martine, Cor, and myself, there’s years of experience, and with Martèl, our team gains a fresh dynamic.
We’re at the start of a new chapter. To support this transition, we brought in external coaching to help us work together more consciously. One clear result is that we give each other more space and exchange information more informally.
On the technical side, we continue to innovate. Robotics is becoming increasingly important, allowing us to automate repetitive tasks so that our colleagues can focus on what they do best. This not only helps maintain the quality we’re known for but also makes our organization future-proof.
